Three major foundry industry associations in South China:

1. The Hong Kong Foundry Association was founded in September 1985. It is the only industry leader in the Hong Kong foundry industry and enjoys a high reputation and influence at home and abroad. The Hong Kong Foundry Association currently has more than 500 member companies, bringing together a group of well-known and powerful large enterprises and some listed companies in the industry mainly in South China and covering all parts of the country. The vast majority of member companies have companies and production bases in Hong Kong and the mainland, and their businesses involve various equipment manufacturing, environmental protection and die-casting production, raw material supply, casting product trade, casting surface treatment and other fields. The products produced are of various types, ranging from daily household items, 3C products, toy products to automobile engine cylinder blocks, and parts for large equipment such as aerospace, and the products are sold all over the world.

2. The Guangdong Foundry Industry Association is the most professional provincial industry organization voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions, colleges and universities, scientific research institutions and other institutions engaged in casting and die-casting related professions. The association was established on December 18, 2009 with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. In April 2022, it was rated as an AAAA-level social organization by the Guangdong Provincial Social Organization Management Bureau, and served as the vice-chairman unit of the Guangdong Provincial Social Organization General Association and the director unit of the China Foundry Association. It was also awarded the title of "National Advanced Social Organization in the Foundry Industry". To date, the association has nearly 300 members, including nearly 80 presidents, vice presidents, directors and other related units.

3. The Casting and Die-casting Branch of the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society (abbreviated as: Guangdong Casting and Die-casting Society) is an academic non-legal mass organization of casting technology workers in the province, affiliated to the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society. The association is affiliated to South China University of Technology, and the secretariat is located in the National Metal Materials Near-net Forming Engineering Technology Research Center of South China University of Technology.
