Anhui Province has officially launched the construction of peak cultivation disciplines, involving 74 disciplines in 28 universities, of which 7 disciplines from 4 universities in Bengbu, including Bengbu University, are on the list. As the school with the most complete comprehensive discipline infrastructure in Bengbu City, Bengbu University has always been a proud golden business card of Bengbu.

In order to further promote the provincial peak cultivation discipline of "electronic information", strengthen school-enterprise cooperation and comminicate, serve local industrial development, explore new models of talent training integrating industry and education, give play to their respective advantages, and realize resource sharing. Bengbu University and Bengbu Longhua Die Casting Machine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Longhua") held a "Provincial Peak Cultivation Discipline Co-construction" "Phase I" project acceptance and conclusion seminar at Bengbu Longhua Die Casting Machine Co., Ltd. on October 11, 2024. Secretary Chen Guolong pointed out at the meeting that the "Electronic Information" discipline of Bengbu University is a peak cultivation discipline in Anhui Province, and is also a discipline for the school's master's degree program. This discipline has achieved remarkable original results in intelligent perception, intelligent detection, Internet of Things applications, artificial intelligence and other technologies. We must give full play to the characteristics and advantages of this discipline in teaching, scientific research, and talent training, base the construction of disciplinary achievements on the needs of local economic development, and complement the advantages of disciplinary resources and enterprise development. We must take national policy guidance as a weather vane, and take benchmarking against world-class standards as a starting point, stay true to our original aspirations, and work hand in hand.

The "Provincial Peak Cultivation Discipline Co-construction" "Phase I" project has won the following honors through contractual cooperation between the two parties: 13 national invention patents/93 national utility model patents/6 computer software copyright certificates/"1 certificate for the first set of major technical equipment in Anhui Province"/"5 certificates for new products in Anhui Province"/"1 certificate for national intellectual product implementation"/"27 certificates for scientific and technological achievements in Anhui Province"/"5 Longhua trademark certificates"/"2 CE certificates/Longhua die-casting machine/robot/"one group standard for artificial intelligence cold chamber die-casting machine" and other honors.

Both parties firmly believe that with the joint efforts of each other, the electronic information discipline construction of Bengbu University will surely become a first-class discipline at home and abroad, and Bengbu Longhua Die-casting Machine Co., Ltd. will also cultivate high-end technical talents with the cooperation of University resources, improve the accuracy of product research and development, and build Longhua into a top domestic and foreign technology-based manufacturing enterprise.
